Jay is working in Mix Hostel, and his family is one of the victims from the earthquake disaster, fortunately, all of his family members successfully survived from this disaster, but their houses got destroyed completely.

With the surport from Mix's guests and staff, we arranged one truck and two mini vans with drinking water, medicines, food, and daily commodities into the most seriously damaged zone "Du JIang Yan".

Thanks to Mix's French guest Anthony (From French Red Cross Volunteer Organization) and Yannick (The volunteer to earthquake-hit zone) with the support from French Consulate General Bernard BERTHO, we got the proof from French Embassy which helps our truck and vans without any problem get into the disaster zone.

Though the victims suffered a lot from the earthquake, and not every individual was taken care very well, but consider the earthquake really affected too hugh area, which makes the rescue work and succoring job very difficult.

But it's getting better day by day, I'm so touched by the Chengdunese people, facing the disaster, most of them stepped ahead , and they are very strong in terms of mentality, and most of them are giving the hand to victims without any hesitation after several hours later when earthquake occurred! I'm so prond of you guys!
