It's a tradition to eat "sweet dumplings" in the last day of Chinese Spring Festival, also called "Lantern Festival". Chinese call this food "Tang Yuan", Tang means soup, Yuan means round, and this round shape food kinda of symbolises the family re-union in the Chinese Spring Festival.
It's actually a pretty yummy dessert
